The University of Virginia is in a “Phase II” reopening of critical research enterprises. This phase is not substantively different from Phase I with respect to research activities. It is meant to allow limited access to research facilities for researchers who have critical projects underway. MLBS is allowed to host a limited number of critical researchers, prioritizing those with long-term projects that require data collection or project maintenance to preserve continuity of data. Researchers who wish to access the station grounds or facilities need to apply using the MLBS Phase 1 Research Ramp-Up Plan template following MLBS Phase 1 Guidelines, and explicitly addressing COVID-19 safety measures. MLBS guidelines are adapted from UVA Research Ramp-Up Guidance provided by the Vice President for Research.
NOTE: Please continue to use the "Phase 1" guidelines and plan template. MLBS requirements and procedures have not changed.
