The University of Virginia is in a “Phase I” reopening of critical research enterprises. This phase is meant to allow limited access to research facilities for researchers that have critical projects underway. MLBS is allowed to host a limited number of critical researchers, prioritizing those with long-term projects that require data collection or project maintenance to preserve continuity of data. Researchers who wish to access the station grounds or facilities during Phase 1 need to apply using the MLBS Phase 1 Research Ramp-Up Plan template following MLBS Phase 1 Guidelines, and explicitly addressing COVID-19 safety measures. MLBS guidelines are adapted from UVA Research Ramp-Up Guidance provided by the Vice President for Research.
