Field Research Practicum

Mountain Lake Biological Station introduces a new 10-week program that offers students the opportunity to gain explicit training and research experience across a broad spectrum of field biology. Students will enroll in 3 summer field courses that include research projects, join a research team working at MLBS for a 1-week long experience, and participate in professional development workshops and general station science activities. Completion of the practicum provides students a documented experience in research that both qualifies them for future research opportunities and allows them to sample a range of topics in ecology, evolution, and organismal biology.

A limited number of fully-funded practicum positions are available
